We have had extensive experience in treating a variety of disorders related to the digestive system, including: Crohn's disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, diverticular disease, peptic ulcers, Hepatitis A, B, and C, Heliobacter pylori, GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease), primary biliary cirrhosis, lactose intolerance, colitis, GI bleeding, chronic constipation, hemorrhoids, Barrett's, esophagus, gastritis, chronic diarrhea, polyps, dysphagia, and liver disease.
We have been successful in conducting clinical trials related to Hepatitis C, GERD, Crohn's disease, and Ulcerative Colitis.

Gastroenterology
Gastroenterology Associates offers outpatient services in our endoscopy centers which are located in Poughkeepsie and New Windsor, NY. Services in the office include colonoscopy for colon cancer screening, upper endoscopy which studies the upper portion of the GI tract, capsule endoscopy for diagnosis of small bowel disorders, BRAVO monitoring system to evaluate acid reflux disease, and Lactose-tolerance testing. Comprehensive treatment is offered for liver diseases such as hepatitis C. Infrared coagulation for hemorrhoids is also offered.
Gastroenterology Associates has received Joint Commission Accreditation. Our research department has dedicated exam rooms, temperature monitored storage including ambient, refrigerator and freezer.
