Nevada Alliance Against Diabetes is a non-profit organization dedicated to the control of the epidemic of diabetes and its related conditions among the minority communities of Southern Nevada. As part of our Mission, we conduct clinical trials in diabetes and other health related conditions (Cardio vascular, metabolic disorders, neurological deficit, obesity, medical devices and biologics). These trials are conducted within the private-practice of our medical director, Dr. Rubin H. Saavedra. This organization has been conducting clinical trials at these premises since September 2004. However, the staff has combined 35 + years of clinical trial experience.
In conjunction with the Clark County Department of Health, the organization conducts educational seminars on diabetes, support groups, diabetes awareness health fairs and many other community activities. Consequently, we have a very large database of prospective trial subjects. The site always exceeds sponsor's enrollment projections for their respective trials.
The staff at Nevada Alliance Against Diabetes has conducted clinical trials in all phases except phase 1.
