  Dr. Norman Gordon received his medical degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the Miriam Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. Dr. Gordon completed a Neurology Residency at the RIH Department of Neurology, serving as Chief Resident from 1987-1988. Dr. Gordon is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. With her twenty years experience in the healthcare industry, she has been managing clinical research trials for over 15 years. Her responsibilities include acquisition of new clinical trials, budget negotiations, promotion and supervision of ongoing projects. Patricia is currently the Director of the Stroke Team at Miriam Hospital, responsible for enrolling patients under emergency conditions.
