We are the largest renal care provider in Nashville, Tennessee and in a surrounding sixty mile radius serving fourteen counties. Our twenty-two (22) Nephrologists and six (6) Nurse Practitioners care for 1,200 hemodialysis and 200 peritoneal dialysis patients in 20 outpatient clinics. The physicians of Nephrology Associates have founded two national dialysis companies: Rencorp and National Nephrology Associates. In addition, there are over 8,000 active patients followed regularly in our practice with various combinations of renal disease, hypertension, and diabetes.
We are committed to the efficient performance of Phase II through IV clinical trials by providing rapid enrollment, timely and accurate data recording, and most importantly, the highest quality of patient care available. We have a completely computerized medical records system, facilitating tracking of diagnoses, medications, and laboratory studies. In addition, we have two standard laboratory refrigerators and a (-20°) freezer dedicated solely for the purpose of storing research medications and lab specimens.
Our Clinical Research Staff are experienced in maintaining ethical standards, regulatory documents, negotiating budgets, accurate completion of Case Report Forms, and Pharmaceutical dispensing and accountability. We are interested in participating in clinical trials of pharmaceutical products and/or medical devices related to renal transplant, diabetes, hypertension, renal disease, dialysis, dialysis access, or related conditions and products.

Our main office is conveniently located twenty minutes from the Nashville International Airport. There is a conference room and extra office space for visiting monitors. Our practice utilizes a comprehensive electronic charting system. We perform EKG's, urinalyses, and phlebotomy with blood tests being sent out to any of several available laboratories. In the same building is a large private radiology group, which can perform most commonly available radiology tests including CT scans and MRI's. The office is located in a safe, central part of the city convenient to major interstate expressways, hospitals, restaurants, and shopping.
