Abel Murillo, M.D., D.A.B.P.M., F.I.P.P.; Principal Investigator; has been involved in different aspects of Clinical Research Trials for more than 15 years. He has extensive experience in developing trials of Diabetes, Cardiovascular, Neurology, Pulmonary, Pain Management, and women's health drugs. Dr. Murillo's experience in clinical trials studies over the past 15 years has occurred with very prominent pioneers in Clinical Pharmacology. His experience as Faculty member at University of Miami, private practice in Anesthesiology and Pain Management, and Primary care of patients reflect his broad range of interest in areas of research trials.

Martha Hernandez - Illas, MD, Principal Investigator, is board certified in Internal Medicine & Rheumatology. She has actively pursued private practice and clinical research since finishing fellowship at University of Miami in 2004. Since that time she has conducted over 50 trials focused in Rheumatoid Arthritis, Gout, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Myositis, Diabetes, Cardiovascular. She joined the team at Elite in 2010.

Maria D. Revoredo, RN, BSN, CCRC, President, Clinical Director has over 13 years of clinical research experience. She has expanded her clinical experience from having worked as a Site Director for a Phase I unit to a Clinical Research Associate. Her clinical research experience is in various therapeutic areas and she has been involved in over 300 clinical trials.

The clinical research staff at Elite Research Institute collectively has over 75 years of clinical research experience in Phase I/II trials. Our staff is very well trained in all aspects of research including ICH/GCP guidelines and FDA regulations. The staff is encouraged to actively develop their personal potential to enrich their individual contribution to the performance of the center.
