Marc C. Gittelman, M.D., F.A.C.S. has been practicing medicine since 1988 and is a board-certified urologist. As Executive Director of South Florida Medical Research, he has overseen the conduct of more than 350 clinical research trials since 1992. At this multi-specialty site, our physician staff includes ten urologists, three gynecologists, and a family practitioner. We're a private, research-specific facility with 16 full-time research staff members who are completely dedicated and trained to conduct clinical trials. The majority of our study coordinators are Certified Clinical Research Coordinators. Additionally, we have a strong patient recruitment department and clinical and data quality assurance personnel to ensure our processes are accurate and complete. Our spacious facility includes four patient exam rooms, three rooms dedicated for pharmaceutical company monitor use and adequate storage space.
Our trained and experience staff has over 16 years experience in the area of clinical research. We hold our ethical standards and study completion foremost as we strive to complete our studies in a timely and productive manner. Our network of qualified medical staff and the motivation of our study coordinators give us the ability to accurately and effectively complete our clinical studies.

Our facility is located near Miami Florida in the city of Aventura. We offer the ability to attract an extremely diverse population. Our trained coordinators are fluent in Creole, Spanish and English. Our site is located on the campus of Aventura Hospital and Medical Center that includes a diagnostic and MRI center. Our institute focuses on phase II, III, and IV clinical trials.
