Pharmax Research Clinic (PHARMAX) is a quality driven multi-specialty research center located at Miami, Florida. Founded in 2006, PHARMAX's team pride itself of its proven track record for effectively administering multiple clinical trial implementations, ranging from phase I through phase IV.
Our mission is to help improve the human health, by obtaining the highest quality data due to meticulous attention to good clinical practice, protocol, educating our study participants to guarantee compliance with study procedures/retention, and maintaining our employees well trained in order to meet or exceed the needs of our customers. We keep study participants at the center of our day to day operation by putting their health and safety first and helping them understand their disease process.
We provide inpatient and outpatient clinical trials services ranging from phase I though phase IV to branded pharmaceutical drugs, generic drugs and medical devices companies. We are operating in several key therapeutic areas, such as: Cardiology, Endocrinology, Pain Management, Dermatology, Neurology, Psychiatry, Gastro-Intestinal, Immunology-Vaccines, Ophthalmology, Rheumatology and Gynecology.

PHARMAX has 7 full-time coordinators with over 50 years of combined research experience. PHARMAX's staff include: coordinators, coordinator assistants, full-time patient recruiter, full-time lab personnel with phlebotomy certificates, regulatory specialist, financial officer and administrative staff.

Our state-of-the-art computer system designed for clinical trials allows us to track volunteers by demographic information and other screening criteria enabling us to respond quickly to study enrollment requirements. In addition, internal recruitment tools are used for all studies to strategically recruit the desired population. When necessary, TV, radio and newspaper advertising is used to reach into the community to attract volunteers from all segments of the population.

PHARMAX with a space of 4,660 square-foot includes: 10 beds, 2 examination and 2 observation rooms, on-site laboratory and spacious waiting area for patients. PHARMAX also has dedicated space for investigators, coordinators and monitors with high speed internet, telephone, and copier machine and fax access. Patient recruitment is typically achieved by Investigator/Physician referrals, database and recruitment department is in collaboration with all local medias for advertising.
PHARMAX is conveniently located in the vicinity of a medical community which includes the Metropolitan Hospital. We are also partnering with different outpatient facilities that provides a full spectrum of laboratory, imaging services and special diagnostic services at three convenient locations. They offer the latest technology, a well-trained staff, and a relaxing, comfortable atmosphere for all our participants. This puts a variety of technical and diagnostic resources nearby to support our services.
Additionally, we are situated right across of the Doubletree Miami Mart / Airport Hotel & Exhibition Center and the attractive Blue Lagoon lodging area. We are just 1 mile away from Miami International Airport, centrally located to provide immediate access to major expressways such as 836 and 826, just a short drive to Downtown Miami, Brickell Avenue and Coral Gables. Free parking space at our facility and public transportation is available as well.
