NeuroTrials Research, Inc. is an independent research organization devoted exclusively to investigational drug research and diagnostic testing, specializing in the Central Nervous System (CNS) area. Clinical trials that are preformed at our research site are Phase I - IV.
Founded in 1997, NeuroTrials Research has grown to include a network of investigators with special expertise in: neurology, psychology, psychiatry, sleep medicine, pulmonary medicine and internal medicine.
Today, NeuroTrials Research has the largest and most advanced sleep research laboratory in the Southeast with the ability to run studies night or day, seven days a week. Our expert and professional team of experienced staff are dedicated to the safety and well-being of our subjects and the accuracy of research for our clients.
NeuroTrials Research, Inc. and our investigators have extensive experience in conducting CNS clinical trials. We have the capabilities to conduct Phase II-IV trials in all CNS related areas.

Russell P. Rosenberg, Ph.D.
Board Certification: Sleep Disorders Medicine
Training: Dr. Rosenberg attended graduate school at Ohio State University. He completed a sleep disorders and behavioral medicine residency at Rush Presbyterian Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Rosenberg is the Director of the Northside Hospital Sleep Medicine Institute in Atlanta.
Research Experience: Dr. Rosenberg has over 15 years of experience conducting clinical trials. He has been the principal investigator on over 30 studies in insomnia, narcolepsy, excessive daytime sleepiness, shift work sleep disorder, and sleep apnea.
D. Michael Lacey, M.D.
Board Certification: Neurology, Sleep Disorders Medicine
Training: Dr. Lacey attended medical school and residency at Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine. He completed his fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta. Dr. Lacey is in private practice in Atlanta and is also the Medical Director of the Northside Hospital Sleep Medicine Institute.
Research Experience: Dr. Lacey has over 10 years of experience as a clinical investigator. He has been the principal investigator on studies involving Parkinson's disease, Epilepsy, Insomnia, Restless Leg Syndrome, Headache, Migraine, Alzheimer's disease, and ALS.
Matthews W. Gwynn, M.D.
Board Certification: Internal Medicine, Neurology
Training: Dr. Gwynn attended medical school and residency at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He is in private practice at Atlanta Neurology and is Chairman of Neurology at Northside Hospital.
Research Experience: Dr. Gwynn has over 10 years of experience conducting clinical trials. He has been the principal investigator on studies in Neuropathy, Chronic pain, Headache, Epilepsy, and Stroke.
NeuroTrials has a large number of other neurologists, psychiatrists, and internal medicine physicians who act as principal and sub-investigators.
The staff of NeuroTrials Research, Inc. is dedicated to excellence in the clinical trials process. Our coordinators provide the experience and know-how to complete studies in a timely fashion, focusing attention on the details that lead to successful trials. Our staff works closely with sponsors, physicians, and research participants to ensure quality data.
Our coordinators are fully dedicated to clinical trials. They have over 20 years of experience in the clinical trial industry. Our coordinators have exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills. NeuroTrials Research has consistently exceeded enrollment goals due to our staff's excellence in recruiting and retaining qualified participants.

NeuroTrials Research is located next to three major hospitals in the North Atlanta metropolitan area. We are conveniently located to major highways, hotels, and shopping areas. Our office has a large comfortable waiting room, three patient exam rooms and dedicated rooms for monitors. Parking is free of charge.
NeuroTrials also has a dedicated 15-bed research sleep laboratory. We have the ability to run studies night or day, 7 days a week.
