The Northern Indiana Cancer Research Consortium (NICRC) is comprised of the following five member institutions: Elkhart General Hospital, located in Elkhart, Indiana, Lakeland Hospitals located in Saint Joseph and Niles, Michigan, Indiana University LaPorte Hospital, located in LaPorte, Indiana, Memorial Hospital, located in South Bend, Indiana, and Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center with campuses in Mishawaka and Plymouth, Indiana. The NICRC has one affiliate institution: Howard Regional Health System located in Kokomo, Indiana. The NICRC aims to promote community participation in NCI-sponsored clinical trial research in Indiana and Michigan.
The NICRC is a member of the following cooperative groups: The Cancer and Leukemia Group B (CALGB), Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG), Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG), North Central Cancer Treatment Group (NCCTG), National Surgical Breast and Bowel Project (NSABP), Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG), Wake Forest University (WFU) and the Clinical Trials Support Unit (CTSU).
