A private practice based clinical research center that was founded in 1994 by Drs. Michael J. Maloney and John A. Yarbrough, both board certified in Allergy and Immunology. The Research Center is strategically situated in an area that affords a broad range of research subjects. Since the Research Center's inception in 1994, Drs. Maloney and Yarbrough have developed a reputation for thorough and concise research. Due to patients being selected from the practice and also from other internists and specialists in the area, the NE GA Research Center has an outstanding reputation for recruitment.

NE GA Research Center's mission is to provide quality research through educating the community about the benefits of research while providing a continuity of care.
The NE GA Research Center has been involved in clinical research for 15 years. Over the past 15 years our Center has completed trials from phase IIB, III, IIIB, IV and OTC clinical trials. The Northeast Georgia Research Center's specialists have performed trials in the following therapeutic areas:

Our Research Center has 2 physicians that are both board certified in Allergy & Immunology. Dr. Yarbrough has an additional board certification in Internal Medicine and Dr. Maloney is also board certified in Pediatrics. Our Nurse Practitioner, Donell Ducote FNP-C, has been a member of the Research Center since 1998. Our Research Center has a network of physicians from which a number of our research patients are pulled from.
Michele Lesniak, RN, CCRC has 18 years of clinical research experience that also includes experience with Sponsor and FDA audits. Shannon Allegood, CCRC has 10 years of clinical research experience. The research staff is also supported by the Clinic nursing staff when needed.
Our staff is committed to the highest professional standards of patient care, data quality, client service, and medical responsiveness. To achieve our goals we are active in many community programs, ie. health fairs, free screenings, community education, etc.

The NE GA Research Center is located an easy 90 minutes from Atlanta's Hartsfield Airport with hotels, bed & breakfast inns, and restaurants in close proximity.
Located in a rapidly growing area, our proven, diverse clinical trial patient population is drawn from 15 counties and 2 states. The 10,000 square foot main office has waiting room seating for 50 patients, 8 exam rooms, a private monitoring area and parking for 80 cars.
