Founded in 1954, by the Religious Sisters of Mercy, the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital facility consists of the original building, constructed in 1954, with expansions taking place throughout its history. The St. Joseph Mercy Hospital campus has undergone significant changes over the past several years, with campus expansions planned for the future. The campus currently includes six medical office buildings as well as a large outpatient rehabilitation facility, and renal dialysis center. In addition, St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Port Huron, MI is pleased that Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan is also located on its campus.
