Located adjacent to Wesley Long Hospital, our Cone Health Cancer Center is designated a Community Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Center by theAmerican College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. We also provide cancer services atAnnie Penn Hospital in Reidsville,Randolph Hospital in Asheboro, and at MedCenter High Point.

As the first cancer center in North Carolina to offer our patients TomoTherapy, a new slice-by-slice radiation treatment, we provide comprehensive, leading-edge services, including surgical and gynecological oncology; an inpatient nursing unit; an oncology dental program; an inpatient oncology rehabilitation program; and North Carolina's first inpatient hospice unit. Our outpatient services include radiation oncology, chemotherapy, blood product transfusions and procedures, and the Risk Assessment Clinic for genetic screening.

To give our cancer patients access to the newest developments in cancer treatments and care, we affiliate with theSoutheast Cancer Control Consortium to participate in clinical research projects approved by the National Cancer Institute.

And, since we are sensitive to the impact of cancer on the entire family, we provide extensive education and other services in collaboration with social workers, dietitians and support groups.
