Our Principal Investigator's have been conducting clinical trials since 1997. We have two Internists, Dr. Christopher Alftine and Dr. E. Clark Cullen, and a Neurologist, Dr. Oscar Sanchez. We have conducted studies for multiple indications as listed below.

Dr. Cullen partner/owner of Sunstone Medical Research LLC also serves as principal investigator. His vast experience conducting clinical research trials started in 1997. Over the past 10 years Dr Cullen has conducted over 100 studies in the following areas: COPD, Depression, Anxiety, Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, Type 1 and 2 Diabetes, and Obesity. |

Dr. Oscar Sanchez is a general neurologist with emphasis on dementia and research, gait and other neurological problems that can develop with aging. He completed his fellowships at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke and at the University of Massachusetts. Dr. Sanchez has participated in neurological research for over 10 years between National Institute of Health, Universities and private clinics. He has co-authored numerous neurological papers with honorable mention. |

Bobbie Smith-Ede is a Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Currently with Medord Medical Clinic she also is a sub-investigator on numerous studies at Sunstone Medical Research. She has been involved in research studies since 2006 in the following indications: Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, Diabetes Type ll/l, Obesity, Gastroenterology, COPD, Pain Management, Low Back Pain, Osteoarthritis, Neuropathy, Fibromyalgia, Opioid-Induced Constipation, and Depression.
Sheri Clark is Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Currently with Medord Medical Clinic she also is a sub-investigator on numerous studies at Sunstone Medical Research. She has been involved in research studies since 2007 in the following indications: Hypertension, Diabetes Type ll/l, Obesity, Gastroenterology, COPD, Pain Management, Low Back Pain, Osteoarthritis, Neuropathy, Fibromyalgia, Depression, and Opioid-Induced Constipation.
Our staff at Sunstone Medical Research, LLC, consists of ACRP certified study coordinators. We also have an experienced Regulatory Specialist, a Patient Recruitment/Marketing Specialist, and a Database Entry/Administrative assistant.
We strive to produce high-quality, clean, data. We turn Regulatory Packages around in 3 business days. Budgets and Contracts are processed/negotiated within one week of receipt.

Medford is located in Jackson County Oregon with the city's population over 66,000 and the county over 187,000. With the addition of over 5,000 students attending the University of Southern Oregon and a population of over 150,000 in outlining areas. Medford is home to 2 major medical centers: Providence Medical Center and Asante Health Systems-Rogue Valley Medical Center. As a result, Medford is the hub of the medical industry in all Southern Oregon.

Our facilities include four exam rooms, two monitor meeting rooms with high speed internet access, secure drug room and on-site lab processing.
Our study participants enjoy our comfortable accommodations including television or a quiet reading corner, fireplace, coffee, tea, or fresh fruit.
We are located just minutes from the Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport. Rental cars and taxis are readily accessible from the airport. We offer public transportation assistance to our study patients in need of this service.
