The Company runs under Director of Operations Matt Bullock, (BS Animal Science/Biochemistry, former-CCRC/CCRA) in industry since May 1988. The Bryan College Station site operates under Site Manager Tonya Canatella (BS Sociology), in industry since 1992. Both of these lead figures have been involved with DiscoveResearch, Bryan/College Station, since the opening of the site in 2002. Our Bryan site also has additional full-time, dedicated research coordinators and part-time research assistants.
The deep pool of talent at DiscoveResearch extends to our established slate of physician investigators. DiscoveResearch, Inc., is an out-patient clinical research site located in the City of Bryan's medical hub at 2210 East 29th Street in the St Joseph Hospital North campus. This mid-sized market is recognized as a regionalized medical community, uniquely situated between Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth. The entire Bryan/College Station medical community is undergoing a sustained period of significant growth. In addition to the leading healthcare service providers in this area, Texas A&M is expanding the University's medical school. Not only does this expansion accommodate the clinical requirements of their medical degree program, but also gives DiscoveResearch the opportunity to expand our clinical research services in a community with an emerging world-class academic medical infrastructure.
In collaboration with established community-based physicians, experienced as research investigators, our center specializes in conducting outpatient, multi-therapeutic, phase II-IV clinical trials. Our site's CLIA certified laboratory and contemporary medical facility includes: collection and storage facilities for biological specimens, refrigerator, ultra-low freezer (-40 C), refrigerated centrifuge, locked/limited access drug storage, and extensive state-of-the art diagnostic and patient monitoring equipment. Investigational drug pharmacy is available on demand for DEA controlled substances.
