Florida Premier Research Institute, LLC (FPRI), and Florida Pulmonary Research Institute, LLC, are State-of-the-Art, Multi-Specialty facilities conducting Phase I-IV pharmaceutical research in the Orlando, Florida, metropolitan area. We conduct trials for males and females of all age groups and ethnicities. Specialty areas include but are not limited to sleep disorders (insomnia, Restless Leg Syndrome, Narcolepsy), pulmonary disease (such as asthma, COPD, and bronchiectasis), diabetes, gout, infectious disease, pain management, depression, women's health, rheumatoid arthritis, hematology, oncology, and internal medicine.
Dr. Faisal A. Fakih is a triple Board Certified physician, specializing in Sleep Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Internal Medicine. He has been practicing Pulmonary Medicine in the Orlando area for over 30 years, and has been successfully conducting clinical research since 2003. He also serves as our Medical Director and Principal Investigator. Dr. Fakih has an excellent reputation for providing outstanding patient care.
We have 9 full time Clinical Research Coordinators, many of whom are certified by the ACRP as CCRC's, 2 full time Patient Recruitment Specialists, a full time RN/CCRC Quality Control Manager, a Regulatory Specialist, a dedicated Marketing Administrator, board certified Sleep Technicians, and other supporting staff members.

Sabrina currently serves as the sub-investigator on many of our clinical research trials. She has been conducting research since 2007, and has participated on many studies - ranging from insomnia, asthma, COPD, and diabetes.

MICHAEL LEON, RN, BS, MBA, CCRC, CCRP
Michael is our Research Site Director. Most recently, he served as a Research Site Manager for the last 10 years leading the clinical research team at Florida Hospital Celebration Health.
Michael has functioned as a Principal Investigator, Sub-Investigator, Clinical Research Coordinator, and Research Site Manager on over 100 clinical studies. He has been involved in studies of investigational drugs, devices, surgical procedures, and several Investigator Initiated Studies.
Michael was the Chairman of the Site Managers Forum of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) from 2006-2008 and is the Founder and current President of the Central Florida Chapter of ACRP. Michael is also a Founding Member of the Site Solutions Summit, a select group of talented professionals representing premier research sites.

Quality Assurance Manager / Assistant Research Manager
CHRISTINA JACKSON, RN, BSN, CCRC
Christina Jackson, BSN, RN, CCRC has over 16 years of clinical research experience and was first certified as a CCRC by ACRP in May, 1997 and is IATA certified through SAF-T-PAK. Ms. Jackson came to Florida Pulmonary Research Institute with a background in Critical Care, fourteen years in Cardiology with 10 years in cardiac research, and 5 years experience in a multi-therapeutic clinical research setting as well. Ms. Jackson has coordinated approximately 70 clinical research studies, phasesI-IV including multiple cardiology trials both pharmaceutical and device studies, and also has experience conducting studies in multiple different areas such as type 2 diabetes, gout, migraines, chronic pain, hypogonadism, osteoarthritis, post-herpetic neuralgia, dyslipidemia, hypertension, diabetic peripheral neuropathy, and chronic anticoagulation therapy. She also has experience presenting to local IRB's, and experience in FDA audits, and sponsor and IRB audits as well.
