Rainier Clinical Research Center is a privately-owned, independent research clinic for Phase I through IV clinical trials of both drugs and devices. We are located in the greater Seattle area. Since our establishment in 1989, RCRC has successfully conducted several hundred research studies with a primary focus on metabolic disorders such as diabetes, diabetes complications, obesity, lipids and hypertension. We also partner with other successful Principal Investigators in the areas of Cardiology, Neurology and Pulmonology. The newest addition of our Phase I clinic in 2008 gives us the capability to do early development/Phase I studies requiring extended clinic stays and inpatient visits, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic studies and insulin-glucose clamp studies. Our three medical directors are board-certified in endocrinology and metabolism and internal medicine. They are on staff at Valley Medical Center in Renton, Washington, and remain active in private internal medicine and endocrinology practice. Our directors have extensive research experience and training and hold clinical faculty positions at the University of Washington Medical School.
Our mission is to provide an efficient, safe and professional environment for our study participants and accurate, uncompromised quality of data for our study sponsors.
We pride ourselves on our ability to provide quick study start-up and approval and rapid patient enrollment. Over two decades of research experience, we have built up a database of over 10,000 individuals and are continually added new subjects to the database over a wide variety of therapeutic areas.
We have experience conducting Phase I, II, III and IV trials. Over the past 20years we have conducted several hundred studies of pharmaceutical compounds and medical devices.
