Rocky Mountain Oncology Center is a spacious, comfortable, state-of-the-art 19,000 square foot center that not only offers excellence in medicine but an environment of comfort and retreat.
The Community Resource Room is an oasis set up for our patients, families and friends to read while relaxing in one of the 2 massage chairs, sitting by our stone fireplace while watching television, enjoy access to internet communications, kitchen amenities or enjoying a light snack while waiting when undergoing treatment. The room features scenic etched glass windows, bright natural sunlight and an atmosphere of peace that helps heal the spirit while modern technology and medicine manage the disease.
We gladly supply a variety of snacks and beverages to our patients. If you will be staying over the lunch hour, please feel free to bring a sack lunch, have someone else bring in lunch, or choose from our light food selection.
In addition to the Community Resource Room, RMOC has a new resource center available to our patients and staff. The area is secluded, comfortable and overlooks a panoramic vista that soothes the spirit as well as inspires a focus of wellbeing. The area includes reading materials, pamphlets and books on coping with cancer. It also contains literature on nutrition and exercise for cancer patients to be used in conjunction with modern treatments. A fitness area is also available to our cancer patients and includes two elliptical trainers, two stationary bicycles and isometric weight training. A massage therapist has been added to our staff and is available to patients two days per week. Rocky Mountain Oncology Center staff are truly committed.
